Yea , we need several more , both for prep and for show days

What kind of volunteers you need for show days?  The wife and I may be available (I should know more today or tomorrow).

I'm no jk expert, but why cant you just drill the track bar over like the tj's, xj's, zj's, and wj,s?

With anything above 2" of lift you should at least get an adjustable track bar, or track bar bracket for the rear.

and to check the tranny on the new jeeps you have to plug a scan tool in, read the transmission temp in drive or reverse, then put it in park and check the fluid level with a "special tool dipstick" then compare the fluid level to a chart that you get from the service manual.  what used to take a few seconds now takes a LOT longer

I am guessing you are referring to the new Grands?

Ya, I've been meaning to buy that book, "Morg's Guide To Overkill Engineering"

Until then, I think I will just keep the boat anchors in the boat where they belong.  Grin Grin Grin

Sort of. There are a couple of other machines between the 125 to the 140 in the Hobart family. But I think the only difference between the two are mine can use gas also. if I remember right the 125 is just flux core. But as far as a straight flux core machine goes, yours is one of the best ones out there. But yea, same basic machines.

125 is sold without a gauge kit, but one can be bought for gas use.  I just never bothered since I've only ever done FCAW.

I'm running the 125 version of that one I believe.
